Design a scalable tool to help people learn about being a first-time parent

Challenge

The baby care field is not centralized and people need to ask and follow up with many people to get the services. They Don’t find the complete and scalable solution to solve this challenge. I am trying to minimize this gap and this is the social need identified for modern parents who need solutions to save time, ease and track all the record in at one place.

Solution

ParentHood is an app for ‘Helping people learn about being a first-time parent‘ with loads of helpful features that give the opportunity to choose services as per the requirement within your proximity

Goal

The goal of this project is to manage all the baby related products, services and reports at one place with proper track records saved on the cloud.  This project is beneficial to all the new parents who doesn’t’ know/have less knowledge of how to manage baby related things from pregnancy to his career/life. This app will help new parents to brought up their children with industries best practices by experts, shared information, get the services and give children a happy and healthy life

Research Summary

I have used 2 types of user research to start the project research,

Primary research (Interviews)
Secondary research (On the Internet)

I have used some internet references as my primary research. Also having self experience about parenting and problems myself and my wife faced.

Type of research I conducted is primary and secondary user research. After conducting the research, I found a lot of gap in managing the baby care things and this app is able to solve the maximum of them and created in such a way that user can easily be able to search, find, buy, rent and take services from many service providers and ideated as a scalable solution so that the app will get bigger and bigger in terms of services, user friendliness and trustworthy

Complete Database Management

Some players are in the market but they are not solving user pain points in all aspects (New-born baby and the mother care, caring services, vaccination details and record management etc.)

New Born Baby and Mother care Services

User required the services for baby and mother care, e.g. Massage women for baby and mother both, maid for food, clothes)

Nearest Specialized Doctors and Hospital Details

In a user interview, user is eager to see all the specialized nearest doctors and hospital list with phone numbers or nearest current location in case of any emergency.

Stem Cell Banking Information and Services

User want to know about Stem Cell Banking, experience of previous users and its service provider. It can be a blog with chat/comment based interaction we can give.
